(New Iberia, La.) 1902-1944, October 29, 1910, Image 3 A notable wedding in Italian circles was that last Wednesday night when Mr. Paul Cordova, the young electrician was married to Miss Angelina Carrabba, daughter of Mrs. A. Carrabba of this City. The wedding took place at St. Peter's Catholic church with Rev. Father Langlois officiating. The church was beautifully decorated with flowers, ferns and palms by the friends and relatives of the bride and groom, presenting a very lovely spectacle. The bride entered the church upon the arm of her brother Emanuel, to the strains of the beautiful Ava Maria sung by Miss Josephine Baranco, of Jeanerette, accompanied by the organist, Mr. Eves Arnandez. The bride was elegantly gowned in a pretty costume of white creme de chene with orange blossoms and long white veil, the envy of all feminine eyes. Miss Angelina Baranco of Jeanerette was brides-maid with Mr. D. Bonin of this place as best man. Following the ceremony at the church, a reception and dance was given at the home of the groom which was enjoyed by many. They were the recipients of many beautiful presents from their numerous friends.
