Sullivan, of Birmingham, Alabama, and Miss Hattie Carver, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Carver, of this city, took place at one-thirty P. M. Monday. The quiet ceremony which took place in St. Peter's Catholic Church, was performed by Rev. Father Langlois. They were the fortunate recipients of a large number of very beautiful presents. The bride was dressed in a lovely traveling suit. Shortly after the ceremony the happy pair left for Birmingham where they will make their future home. 2nd. A wedding of much interest to the people of South Louisiana was that of last Monday at St. Peter's Catholic church of Miss Hattie Carver, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William H. Carver and Mr. Ignatius L. O'Sullivan of New Orleans. Miss Carver is a popular favorite in New Iberia and the groom a prominent businessman at Birmingham, Ala. The nuptials were celebrated by Rev. Father Langlois in the presence of the immediate relatives after which the happy young couple left for their home at Birmingham. They have the felicitations of their friends throughout the State.
