MESTAYER - DURAND.

Tuesday evening (Oct. 19) Mr. Laurent Mestayer of New Iberia was married to 
Miss Malla Durand, the pretty daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Durand, of St. 
Martin parish. The ceremony was performed by Father Trotoux at the plantation 
home of the bride parents. After the marriage Mr. and Mrs. Mestayer left for 
New Iberia which will be their home. - St. Martin Messenger.

Miss Elmina Durand, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Durand of St. Martin Parish, 
was married on Tuesday evening, October 19, to Mr. Laurent Mestayer of this 
city. The Iberian extends congratulations to the happy couple.
