Carlin, a worthy and promising young man of our town was married to Miss Julienne Fontenot an accomplished young lady of Church Point, and a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ben Fontenot. The nuptial knot was tied by Rev. Father Eby at the Catholic Church in Church Point, who made the ceremony the more impressive by a few timely remarks pertaining to the occasion. After the ceremony the bridal party repaired to the residence of the bride's parents where elegant refreshments were served, and many good wishes were bestowed upon the happy couple. The Tribune joins with a large number of friends in wishing Mr. and Mrs. Carlin a long life of wedded happiness. - Rayne Tribune. Mr. Carlin is a brother of Mrs. Will M. Hearne, of our city, and has numerous relatives and friends in this section, who join in extending congratulations.
