(New Iberia, La.) 1902-1944, February 07, 1903, Image 3 The great event of the season to our Italian citizens of this city, was the marriage of Miss Virginia Jennaro, daughter of that well-known and respected merchant, Mr. Vincent Jennaro, and Mr. M. Pirraro, an enterpising (sic) young merchant of this town. The entire Italian population of this place and vicinity were present at the marriage ceremony, as well as a great number of the native citizens who regard Mr. Jennaro as one of our worthy business men. The marriage service was performed by Rev. Father Jouan, the wedding grand march and overture, were rendered in a masterly manner by Rev. Father Frohn and by Mr. Yves Arnandez the organist, after the ceremonies a reception was held at the home of the bride's parents where congratulations and good wishes were showered upon them. The happy pair were the recipients of many beautiful and costly presents, of every variety and of useful and ornamental nature. The young couple who have started life so auspiciously will reside on West Main street of our city. The Entrprise (sic) joins with many in congratulations.
