The marriage of Miss Lucille Jennaro to Mr. John Mancusa of Lake Charles took place at noon, Thursday, April 14th, at St. Peter's Catholic Church. Mr. and Mrs. John Schlessi were bride's maid and best man, and little Lucille Piraro was the ring bearer. The bride wore a lovely gray gown od crepe de chine with shoes and hat to match, and carried a shower bouquet. Mr. Yves Arnandez played the wedding march, and Miss Cecile Briganti sang the Ave Maria. After the ceremony the newly married couple went to New Orleans for a short visit, after which they will make their home in Lake Charles. Besides the many relatives and friends of the bride here, there were a large number of guests from other cities, including: Mrs. J. Vigadome and children, Mr. and Mrs. Sam Mancuso, Miss Kate Mancuso, and Mr. and Mrs. Tony Neil, all of Lake Charles; Mrs. Citrano and Miss Coners, of Port Arthur; Mr. and Mrs. V. Schilleci and son, Mrs. A. M. Ciaccio, Mr. and Mrs. L. V. Jennaro and son, all of New Orleans; Mrs. F. Giozza, Miss Mary Soporito, Mr. Charles Soporito, Mr. Charles Piazza, Mr. Jos. Piazza, Mr. A. Piazza, Mr. Frank Di Carlo, all of Abbeville; Mrs. A. Macione and daughters, Anna and Clara, Mr. P. Macione and Miss Angelina Baron, all of Jeanerette. Wednesday night Mr. and Mrs. M. Piraro gave a big supper in honor of the bride. The house was beautifully decorated with ferns and cut flowers. Sixty five guests were present.
