(New Iberia, La.) 1902-1944, September 22, 1917, Image 5 On Monday morning last at five o'clock, Rev. J. M. Langlois of St. Peter's Catholic church joined into holy wedlock Mr. Henry Tasker Dulany, a son of Hon. L. T. Dulany and Miss Mary V. Jewell, the winsome daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Harry Jewell. The happy ceremonies which made the young sweethearts man and wife was performed in the presence of the immediate relatives of the bride and groom. Mr. Dulany being one of the selected conscripts departed for the training camps on Wednesday. The young gentleman held a responsible position with the New Iberia & Northern Railroad and previous to that assisted in the Treasurer's office of New Iberia as a clerk. Mrs. Dulany has the distinction and honor of being the first war bride in New Iberia.
