The wedding of Miss Rita Mestayer, the charming daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Adolph 
Mestayer to Mr. Walter Sterken was solemnized in Alexandria on Tuesday, October 
14th at the Catholic church in the presence of the family and immediate friends. 
The Enterprise extends its best wishes for their future.

Mr. and Mrs. Walter Sterke, who were on their bridal trip, arrived here from 
New Orleans on Sunday evening and stopped at Hotel Frederic. They left on 
Monday morning for Alexandria, where they will make their home.

Before her marriage Mrs. Sterke was Miss Rita Mestayer. She is the daughter of 
Mr. and Mrs. Adolph Mestayer, formerly of this parish, but now of Alexandria.
