A wedding of unusual interest occured (sic) this past week, when Miss Oneida Ortte, daughter of Mr. Henry Ortte, formerly of this city, was joined in matrimony to Mr. James Hall, son of Mr. and Mrs. A. E. Hall. The ceremony took place at the Presbytery of St. Peter's Catholic Church, at 8:30 o'clock Saturday evening. Both these young people are widely and most favorably known to all Iberians, and the citizens will unanimously wish them a happy married life. The bride was dressed in a pretty navy blue suit with hat and shoes to match. The immediate families of the contracting parties were present. They left for New Orleans, and from there went to Bogalusa, where Mr. Hall was a delegate to the state convention of the American Legion. They will make their home in New Iberia.
