New Iberia Enterprise. (New Iberia, La.) 1885-1902, November 10, 1900, Image 3

On Wednesday evening last, at the residence of the bride's parents, were united 
in the holy bonds of matrimony, Prof. Ramon Mascorro, Jr., late of Mexico, and 
Miss Anita Verrier, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. V. Verrier. The ceremony was 
performed by Rev. C. C. Kramer in the presence of a few intimate friends of the 
contracting parties and the members of the Pelican State Brass Band, of which 
organization the groom is a valuable member, being himself an accomplished 
musician, and this excellent organization came to do honor to the happy young 
couple. After the impressive ceremony, according to the rites of the Episcopal 
church, delightful refreshments were served and the cosy (sic) little home was 
a perfect bower of joy and contentment. May the connubial life of these two 
loving hearts be a long one and may it always be as happy as the hour that 
witnessed their blessed union.

Mr. Ramon Moscarro, Jr., and Mrs. Anita Verrier were married on the evening of 
the 7th inst., at the residence of the bride's father on Main street. One of 
the features of the evening was a delightful serenade given the bride and groom 
by the Pelican State Band. The IBERIAN wishes the contracting parties a joyous 
voyage through life, full of health and usefulness.
