BERNARD - VIATOR.

A very pretty church wedding took place at St. Peters Catholic Church in this 
city on Wednesday evening, the 11th inst, when Miss Linda Viator was given in 
marriage to Mr. Arthur C. Bernard. Both the young people are well known to a 
broad circle of admiring friends. Rev Father J. M. Langlois officiated at the 
altar and Prof. Y. Arnandez at the grand pipe organ. The ceremony took place 
within the chancel, in front of the altar.

Miss Felis Hulin attended the bride as first maid of honor. The little flower 
girls were Misses Gertie Viator and Lillian St. Martin. Mr. Leon Blanc was the 
groom's best man. The bride was very prettily dressed in a beautifully trimmed 
white lingerie costume with long trail. She wore a wreath and veil. The 
bridesmaid also wore a delicate white costume.

The church was prettily decorated with ferns for the occasion and the aisles 
covered with white cotton. The ribbon girls were Vernice Viator, Myrtle Viator, 
May LeBlanc and Aline Lassere. The users were Messrs. Rene Viator and John 
Gonzales.

After the ceremony at the church a reception was held at the residence of Mr. 
Andrew Viator, a brother of the bride, and was largely attended. The bridal 
presents were many and very beautiful. Among the guests at the reception were:

Covington; Mr. and Mrs. Geo. Steen, Miss Anne Lou White, and Miss Daisy Steen, 
of Abbeville; Mr. and Mrs. Joe Cordova, Mr. and Mrs. E. M. Franzel, Mr. and 
Mrs. Adolph Lassere and family, Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Viator and family, Miss B. 
Bercart, Miss Jeanne Dauterive, Mr. and Mrs. Odra Viator and family, Mrs. Geo. 
Simon and family, Mr. and Mrs. Rene Viator, Mr. and Mrs. Luca Jannero, Mrs.
