Firmain Landry by virtue of the Art. 5, of the contract of Marriage, dated 4th of February 1792. In conformity therewith, Mrs. Marie Eleine Amelton, widow of Firmain Landry obligated herself to remit to Theodor Duga or Anselme Landry, tutor in case she would remarry and if they died, that the said sum should be preferred over others; and for more ample Surety she mortgages her property, and presents as Surety her father, Joseph Amelton, for the complete payment of the sum.
