The groom brings to marriage: Sum given him by his father, in movables, animals and: A tract situated in this above said County on the right bank of the Mississippi river, bounded on the upper part by those of his ownership and below by the plantation of my father-in-law, Charles Hebert, composed of three arpents, more or less, of front with forty of depth, without buildings, but with the enclosures which are found thereon, which my father had given me, of his own plantation where he resides, for certain sum; with the express condition of not selling it, etc. during the life-time, of father and mother. Bride bringing sum coming from the sucn. of her decd. mother, as for which sum her father had presented an obligation dated June 1, 1794 for which she gave acquittance.
