Marriage Contract - Carlos Babin, son of Francisco Babin and of Margarita 
Elena Braud, his decd. father and mother; And Magdalene Angela Forest, 
daughter of Pedro Pablo Forest and of Margarita Orillon, her decd. father and 
mother


I, Carlos Babin, bring $351.15 like this, $77.15 coming from the public sale 
at the death of my father and mother, $75.00 for my share of the benefits 
which were made on the plantation which was exchanged with Antonio Blanchard; 
$24.00 for my share in the land which we hold in the High Lands called the 
Bluff of the Fountains. And $175.00 on the estimation made of my plantation 
which I possessed, on receiving three arpents of land of front with the 
ordinary depth of forty; after, to the satisfication of my brother, Pablo 
Babin, $125.00 which I had on it; which estimation made $300.00
