Dn Pedro Belly, Subliuetenant of the Militia, makes declaration or petition, 
stating that Dn Juan Harrison died on October 21, 1798. He petitions that 2 
Interpreters of the English and Spanish language be appointed who would 
recongnize the signatures on three documents.
Dn Franco Rivas states that in order to proceed to make the declaration which 
is solicited by English and Spanish languages to be Interpreters, to the said 
declaration, naming Jorge Skolfield, and Franco Maurice, who accept and make 
their oaths, On July 25, 1799.

Declaration of James Smith Yarbrough, that on the 3 documents is the 
signatures of the deceased Juan Harrison as Surety for Yarbrough for a debt 
due to Miguel Barre, which was paid by Pedro Belly, (who presents receipt of 
Barre)

Declaration of Joseph Hughs, to the effect of the debt.
Declaration of Fermin Landry, to the effect of the debt.

Decree acknowledging the declarations made at the instance of Dn Pedro Belly, 
by the petition which precedes, also the 3 documents attached to petition, and 
acknowledging that Yarbrough owed sum to Barre which sum was paid by Belly who 
produces receipt.

Ordered that the orginals be delivered to Pedro Belly, with remission of the 
petition and 3 documents and copy of the receipt to Miguel Barre.
