All rights reserved. http://usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://usgwarchives.net/la/lafiles.htm ********************************************** File contributed for use in USGenWeb Archives by: Crystal Devillier oneonone@cox.net December 15, 2006, 8:08 pm Source: Transcribed Court Document Written: January 21, 1792 Date: January 21, 1792 Mortgage - Tirjo Bermejo, desiring to liquidate the obligation which he had passed on September 23, past, to the benefit of Jean Valles, for $166 as well as interest; he cedes abandons to Jean Vallet, $100 payable end of this year and $100 at end of next year, which is due him by Jean Charles Comau for the indemnity of the exchange which he had made with him, Comau, the obligation for which following said exchange, had been made on date November 20, past; and he also transfers the mortgage that he had been given by Jean Charles Comau on his plantation, exchanged, situated on the right bank of the Mississippi river, adjacent above to the lands of Joseph Leblanc and below to those of Manuel Canil, containing six arpents of front, on the ordinary depth of forty arpents; for which Jean Vallet is satisfied; and releases the mortgage given him on September 23, past.
