Date: September 23, 1800 Affixing of seals to the property Date: October 27, 1800 Declaration - to have the property inventoried, as asked for by Edmon Capdevielle, son of the decd. Same date Decree - The widow having petitioned for the inventory of the property of her decd. husband for the benefit of the minors, the Commandant, Franco Rivas names as appraisers: Pedro Joseph Landry and Juan Carlos Comau - and for guardian of the minors, their brother, Edmon Capdevielle. Date: October 28, 1800 Notice and oath of Pedro Joseph Landry, and Juan Carlos Comau, appraisers. Same date Notice to Edmon Capdevielle, as guardian of the minors and to Ferdinand Capdevielle Date: October 30, 1800 Inventory - movables Same date Inventory continued - movables The present plantation situated in this said District of Iberville on the right bank of the Mississippi river, bounded on the upper part by lands of Edmon Capdevielle and below by those of the widow of Pablo Maria Landry, composed of five arpents, more or less, of front with forty of depth, which belongs to the succession for having been purchased by the decd. nineteen years ago, with its edifices and fences which consists, * * * which plantation contains about thirty-five arpents of land, with felled wood, of which sixteen are encircled in fences upright posts. Date: November 12, 1800 Appeared: Joseph, Margarita, Maria and Angela Capdevielle, minor children of the decd. Bernardo Capdeviell and of Ana Clouatre, who declare that it being necessary to have a curator for their inheritance and with the permission of their mother, they name their brother, Ferdinando Capdevielle as curator ad lite; who accepts the responsability. Date: November 14, 1800 Appeared: Ana Clouatre, widow of Bernardo Capdevielle who declares that she has no other means of support, except the plantation and its produce and that selling it would be to the prejudice of the minors; and that for the share of the six children, she mortgages the same and acquires said plantation, at price of estimation.
