Santiago Chelatre, - Issue of said marriage: 7 children named Josef, Francisco, Juan, Catalina, Magdalena, Barbaa and Miguel Chelatre. Date: May 21, 1798 Decree - Franco Rivas, states that in order to proceed to the inventory, he names as Guardian to the minors, Dn Pedro Voisin, and as Guardian of the widow, Juan Climpetre, and for appraisers, Josef Aubry Dupuis and Franco Marionnau. Date: May 22, 1798 Oath of guardian of the minors. same date: Oath of Juan Climpetre, guardian of the widow. same date: Decree of the Commandant that observing the oaths above, he would proceed to the inventory on May 29. A plantation situated in the expressed District of Iberville, on the right bank of the Mississippi river, bounded above by lands of Martin Chelatre and below by those of the Royal Dominion which contains six arpents and two toises of front on the river by forty of depth, closing at fifteen degrees at its rear according to his figurative plan and title of concession of the thirtieth of May of one thousand seven hundred eighty-seven with all its edifices, establishments and fences. Date: May 31, 1798 Family meeting - Appeared: Babrbara Climpetre, widow of the decd. Santiago Chelatre, and also being present, Juan Climpetre, guardian of the said widow and Dn Pedro Voisin, guardian of the minors; Gorge Climpetre and Martin Chelatre, uncles by blood of the minors, who appear to deliberate on the most advantageous manner to handle the property for the minors, and decide to proceed to a public sale. Date: June 16, 1800 At request of Barbara Climpetre, widow of Santiago Chelatre, as mother and curator of her minor children: Joseph, Francisco, Juan, Miguel, Catalina and Barbara Chelatre; of Gorge Climpetre, under-tutor of the minors; and of Pablo Dupuis, husband of Magdalena Chelatre, all heirs of the said decd. Santiago Chelatre, the Commandant proceeds to the liqudiation. Money distributed to heirs. Same date - Barbara Climpetre appeared as mother and curator of the minors, with the consent and approval of the under curator of the minors, Gorge Climpetre, declares that she received certain sum belonging to Joseph, Francisco, Juan, Miguel, Catalina and Barbara Chelatre, minors for their share of inheritance from their decd. father and from the decd. of their grandmother Magdealena Terhimmer, and she declares that she is obligated to the minors for the payment of said sum, and she obligates her property until such time.
