Francois Croizet. At the request of Mrs. Marie Anne Trepagnier, widow of Francois Croizet, Declaring that her late husband, had married with Mrs. Genevieve Cheval, and two children were born: Francois and Simon Croizet, that she died and that on the 16th of June 1758 there was drawn an inventory of the property left; that when he married Marie Trepagnier on November 22, 1759, there were born issue of this marriage: Mrs. Marie Elisabeth Croizet, now wife of Joseph Laurent Fabvre, Michel Canterelle being father and tutor of his minor children issue of this marriage wit Mrs. Magdeleine Croizet; Mrs. Jeanne Croizet, wife of Michel Judice; Henriette and Zabelle, Helaine, Suzon and Justine Croizet. A plantation situated on the right bank of the Mississippi river adjacent above to Jacque Cantrelle, and below to Mr. Francois Croizet, * * * the said plantation belonging to the Succession for having been purchased by the late Mr. Croizet of Dn Louis Judice Commandant of Lafourche by act passed and deposited in the archives of Dn Balthazard De Villiers, then Commandant at Pointe Coupee on the date of the 24th September 1771, but it is obsereved to me by the lady, Widow Croizet that the said plantation contained at the time of the sale, twenty-four arpents front, but that it is reduced to thirteen arpents and some toisis of front, on having been sold, the five aprents above to Mr. Jacque Rousseau, inhabitant at Lafourche, and ten arpents below to Mr. Francois Croizet, for which the amount had been paid; Movables, slaves, animals.
