Decree - ordering that notice be served on Andre Langlois, guardian of his sister, Elizabeth, and to Antanase Dardene, paternal uncle and guardian of minor children of the decd. Charles Dardene. Notice to Andre Langlois and to Atanase Dardene served. Acceptance of guardain, Andre Langlois and of Atanase Dardene. Decree ordering naming of appraisers. Date: August 22, 1806 Inventory The present plantation situated in this County on the right bank of the Mississippi river, bounded above by the properties of Mr. Jean Franchebois de Bertin and below by those of the widow of Louis Nero, composed of four arpents and a half of land of front on the depth of forty, of which the cypressess belong to Mrs. DeGruy and Mayrone; further, a second depth of the said plantation of three arpents of land of front and thirty of depth with three degrees of opening, (with the exception of the crop standing which belongs to Antoine Guyol) the buildings, enclosures, and other things which there are on these properties; the first belonging to this community to wit: three arpents of front and forty of depth, for the decd. having received them from his father, in payment of the works which he had done for him, and the arpent and a half of land remaining of the front with forty of depth for having been purchased of Atanase Dardene; and the second concession of three arpents of front as it is explained, for having been purchased of the same Atanase Dardene.
