Pierre Dominguez, that which the late Nicolas DeVerbois had in his hands belonging to the sucn. left by the late Pierre Dominguez, the account being rendered by the Widow of Nicolas DeVerbois. Decd. Nicolas DeVerbois had handled of the late Anselme Blanchard, $250 forming the amount of the plantation which he purchased of the decd. Pierre Domingeuz, as appears by sale deposited in archives. At the time of the payment of the sum, it appears that DeVerbois had also borrowed of the same Anselme Blanchard, the interests which had been due since its maturity up to December, 1796. At that time, DeVerbois had handled of the named Rene Arnaud $50 for paying of his note; and Mrs. DeVerbois paid to avoid all prejudices to the minors, although uncertain, if her decd. husband had collected the amount, since this note is in her possession, and annexed to this account. At this time, DeVerbois had finished recovering the amount of the auction sale of the effects left by the decd. Pierre Dominguez, amounting to $89. Receipt of the total amount which the decd. DeVerbois had received of Anselma Blanchard, after which he paid same to the residents, Phillippe Roth and Jean Leblanc, where the two minors of the decd. Dominguez; At the time of DeVerbois' decease, he still owed the sucn. of Pierre Dominguez. And finally, Mrs. DeVerbois pays remainder to Frans. Maurice, who is in charge of the liquidation of affairs. (Also attached are:) Among papers: Receipt dated December 1, 1796 of Philipe Roth, of interest coming to minors of Pierre Dominguez from Anselme Blanchard. Receipt dated January 16, 1798 of money from DeVerbois. Receipt dated February 18, 1798 from Philipe Roth to DeVerbois. Receipt dated September 10, 1800 from Philipe Roth to DeVerbois.
