Date: May 26, 1802 Decree - In order to proceed with inventory, the Commandant, Franco Rivas, names for guardian of the minor, her paternal grandfather, Pedro Ebert; and for appraisers, Joseph Leblanc and Maturin Landry. Date: May 28, 1802 Oath of Pedro Ebert, guardian of the minor. Same date Oath of the appraisers, the inventory would be proceeded with. Notification to Widow Maria Marta Hernandez; to Pedro Ebert, to the appraisers, to Diego Hernandez, father of the widow. Date: May 31, 1802 Inventory - movables The present plantation situated in said District on the right bank of the Mississippi river, bounded on the upper part by lands of Pedro Ebert, and below by those of Santiago Hernandez, composed of three aprents of front with the ordinary depth of forty, with its dependencies, which consist *** well understood that the facade of the front, that of the depth and that of the part below, only, belongs to the succession, and that above, to the said Pedro Ebert, his neighbor, which plantation belongs to the succession for having been obtained, by the decd. of his father, when he married, embraced in the sum which was expressed in the matrimonial deed, which managed the marriage. Date: June 2, 1802 Appeared: Maria Marta Hernandez, widow of Simon Ebert, Pedro Ebert, father of the decd. and guardian of his grand-daughter, Maria Carmelita Ebert, and Diego Hernandez, father of the widow. Family Meeting - Decide to proceed to sale the property as to the best interest of the minor. 1st cry of sale. 2nd cry, 3rd cry.
