Date: March 29, 1795 Public Sale - Property of Paul Ebert, Jr. & Margueritte Braud, his wife. A plantation situated in this District on the right bank of the Mississippi river, adjacent above to the lands Alexandre Landry and below to those of Joseph Aubris Dupuis, containing five arpents four toises of front on the ordinary depth of forty, the buildings, enclosures which are thereon, in a word, such as it comprises and contains at present, which belongs to the said Paul Ebert and Margueritte Braud, his wife, for having been purchased by the 10th of February one thousand seven hundred eighty-one, deposited in the archives of this Commandant; which plantation will be sold and adjudicated under the restrictions which are made by the said Mr. Paul Ebert, Sr. and Mrs. Margueritte Melancon in the said act of sale, of the above said plantation and its dependencies, to be able to have the use during their life-time.
