Appeared before Alexander Norie, Civil Comdt.: Thomas Estevan, actual Military 
Comdt. for sd District of Galveztown, who declared that Norie should choose 
carpenters to appraise the public buildings made at the expense of the King of 
Spain, all of which have been conceded by the King of Spain to the Republic of 
France under the counselship of Bonaparte, and from thence to the United 
States of America, on Dec. 20, 1803 and in the 28th year of the Independence 
of the U.S.A. Appraisement made.
