Date: September 23, 1794 Inventory - Property of Tranquil Olivier, blacksmith. A tract situated in this Post on the left bank of the Mississippi river, adjacent above to the lands of the grantee and below to those of the Church, containing two arpents, ten toises and four feet of front on the river on the ordinary depth of forty, the cabin which is thereon which belongs to him for having purchased it of Michel Gareuil. Movables. (Written in Spanish on margin: Le Baron de Carondelet has been informed by Comdt. of legitimatecy debt.) Date: March 27, 1795 Petition for Public Sale by Michel Gareuil, of land sold by him to Tranquil Olivier, blacksmith, who did not pay for same, and the levee is now in bad condition. Date: May 3, 1795 Public Sale - Property of Tranquil Olivier. A tract of two arpents, ten toises and four feet of front on the Mississippi river, on the depth of eighty arpents with the fan which might occur in proportion to the front, which land is bounded above by that of the Church and below by that of Jean Longuelpee, not having any building, or enclosures; with the reserve, nevertheless, of the cypress trees and the oaks which might be found thereon up to the concurrence of forty arpents which belong to Mr. Joseph Barquer Vahamonde, which belongs to the said Tranquil Joseph Olivier for having been purchased of the same Michel Gareuil by act passed before me, deposited in the archives of this Commandant, on the date of the twenty-ninth of April one thousand seven hundred ninety-four.
