All rights reserved. http://usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://usgwarchives.net/la/lafiles.htm ********************************************** File contributed for use in USGenWeb Archives by: Crystal Devillier oneonone@cox.net February 22, 2007, 11:00 am Source: Transcribed Court Document Written: April 25, 1805 Date: April 25, 1805 Acquittance - Appeared: Joseph Hamelton who declared that as appears by the archives, of Jan. 25, 1805 there was proceeded an inventory of the property dependent on the community between his decd. wife, Anastasie and of him, and on 25th of Jan. proceeded to a sale of the property, and desiring to proceed to a distribution because of his children, and gave each his portion; therefore appeared: Bartolemi Hamelton, Jean Louis Bouche, husband of Eleine Hamelton, Jean Lambremont, husband of Anne Hamelton, James Goodbe, husband of Anne Cathorine Bouche, widow of Ygnace Hamelton, mother and tutrix of the minor children: Joseph, Rosalia, Celeste, decd., Eugenie and Marie Theresse, minor children of the same decd. Ygnace Hamelton; And Hteresse Hamelton, widow of Thomas Rills, all five residing in District and heirs of their decd. mother and mother-in-law, Anastasie Come; And declared to have received of their father, each their share in sums coming to them from said succession.
