Margueritte Leblanc. There be named a guardian of Marie Carmelitte Ebert, grand-child. Notice to Ely Ebert, that P. Belly, Judge has named him guardian of Marie Carmelitte Hebert, minor. Same date - Notice to Jean Bte Ebert, husband of Marie Hebert. Notice to Charles Hebert. Notice to Ely Ebert. Notice to Jean Bte Leblanc, husband of Rosalie Ebert. Date: Jan. 3, 1806 Appeared Ely Hebert, accepting guardianship of Marie Carmelitte Hebert, daughter of the decd. Simon Hebert. Order that the interested parties name appraisers. Date: Jan. 7, 1806 Appeared Pierre Hebert, nameing Joseph Aubry Dupuis, as appraiser. Same date - Appeared Charles and Ely Hebert, Jean Bte Ebert, husband of Marine Hebert, Jean Bte Leblanc, husband of Rosalie Hebert and Ely Hebert, guardian of Marie Carmelitte Hebert, all heirs of the decd. Margarte Leblanc, name Joseph Henry, as appraiser. Decree by P. Belly that the appraisers declare their acceptance. Date: Feb. 17, 1806 Acceptance of appraisers. Decree ordering the said inventory. Date: Feb. 18, 1806 Inventory The present plantation situated at the County of Iberville on the right bank of the Mississippi river, bounded above by the properties of Charles Ebert and below by those of Ely Ebert, composed of five arpents one toise and one foot of front on the ordinary depth of forty, the buildings, enclosures and other things which are staked and built thereon, in a word, such as it comprises and contains actually, which belongs to the community for having been purchased of Jean Bte Dupuis with three arpents of front and forty of depth more which belongs this day to Ely Ebert, about seventeen years ago according to the act under private signature which they have passed among themselves at the time and according to the judicial and authentic sale which was just passed, on date of this day. Simon Hebert, who have declared that they name Charles Hebert to handle all receipts and quittances of said public sale. Date: same date The interested parties have again assembled. and Pierre Hebert declares that he cannot remain as tutor of Marie Carmelitte Hebert, in consequence, he renders account of the tutorship; and they name Ely Hebert, for tutor. Date: April 22, 1807 At request of Charles Ebert, Elie Hebert, for himself and as tutor of Marie Carmelitte Hebert, daughter of Simon Hebert; of Jean Bte Hebert, husband of Marine Hebert; of Paul Landry, husband of Francois Hebert; and of Jean Bte Leblanc, husband of Rosalie Hebert; all heirs of decd. Pierre Hebert and decd. Margueritte Leblanc. Liquidation Immediately Charles Hebert and his co-heirs present the will of the late Pierre Hebert which shows that the minor had recd part of inheritance. Same date - Appeared Jean Bte Hebert received of Charles Hebert, sum coming from sucn left by Pierre Hebert and Margueritte Leblanc, coming to Marine Hebert, his wife.
