Marriage Contract - Joseph Hernandez, son of Diego Hernandez and of Tiotista 
Babin; and Francisca Chiason, daughter of Pablo Chiason and of Macdalena 
Blanchard

Joseph Hernandez brings to the marriage: A tract situated on the right bank of 
the Mississippi river, bounded on the upper tract by those of my father, Diego 
Hernandez and below by those of Carlos Ebert, composed of three arpents, more 
or less, of front, with the depth of forty, which my father had given me of 
the same plantation, with the fences which are on the same; and without 
edifices at all, with the condition that in no manner would I sell the said 
tract until the decease of my said father or mother; and I give to my future 
bride, the half of the above said land.
