Mortgage - Appeared:
Jean Baptiste Lagar and Marie Noel, his wife, owe a certain sum to Joseph 
Orillion for which they mortgage all their property, and if this is not of 
sufficient quantity to satisfy the said sum, after having satisfied the sum 
due to the minors of the deceased Blaise Rivet, who is assured by the act of 
obligation and of mortgage, passed before me, July 16, 1805 they consent that 
the surplus of the value of the plantation, be and remain solely for security 
of the present obligation.

(On margin of above deed:) Paid and acquittance thereof give Sept. 12, 1807
