All rights reserved. http://usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://usgwarchives.net/la/lafiles.htm ********************************************** File contributed for use in USGenWeb Archives by: Crystal Devillier oneonone@cox.net December 12, 2006, 10:23 pm Source: Transcribed Court Document Written: May 29, 1799 Date: May 29, 1799 Mortgage - Antonio Lanclos declares that for the security of the bond that Francisco Marionau holds, for the certain sum, for a negro, purchased at the sale of property of the deceased Cicilla Dupuis, he mortgaged: A plantation belonging to me situated in this said District on the right bank of the Mississippi river, bounded on the upper part by lands of Bisal Rivet and below by the plantation of Aman Hebert, composed of five arpents and three toises of front with the ordinary depth of forty, the same which was possessed of Aubry Dupuis on the fifth day of the month of December of the year passed of one thousand seven hundred ninety-five by deed executed before the Provisional Commandant who is we understand Dn Pedro Voisin; and his step-father, Luis Nero is satisfied with the said action.
