Minor's Mortgage

Hipolite Landry and Olivier Brasset, the 1st as tutor of the minors of the 
late Firmen Landry - The tutor gives release of mortgage to Oliver Brasset, 
which mortgage is dated July 1, 1797 so that he might sell the said land. 
Herein, Oliver Brasset, mortgages the following:
His plantation situated in this Post on the left bank of the Mississippi 
river, adjacent above by land of Hipolite Landry and below by that of Mr. Pol 
Babin, containing four arpents or thereabout of front on the ordianry depth of 
forty arpents

(on margin in Spanish) Cancellation dated Aug. 14, 1800 Signed by Rivas
