Same date Notification to Carlos Braud, husband of Rosalie Landry, daughter of the decd. Date: July 14, 1800 Decree - To proceed to the inventory, and the Commandant names for guardian of the minors: Anselme Landry, their uncle by blood, the minors named: Ypolite, Joseph, Juan Bautista, Margarita, Maria, Escolastica and Adelaida Landry - and names for appraisers: Diego Arnandez and Juan Bautista Dupuis Date: July 16, 1800 Notification to Anselmo Landry, the guardian of the minors and his oath Same date Notification to Diego Arnandez and Juan Bautista Dupuis, appriasers and their oaths Date: July 19, 1800 Decree - The commandant being satisfied with the above oaths, declared that he would proceed to the inventory Same date Notice to Brigida Babin, widow of Pablo Maria Landry Same date Notice to Anselmo Landry, uncle by blood and guardian of the minors Same date Notice to Daniel Landry, major son of the decd. Same date Notice to the appraisers Date: July 22, 1800 Inventory - movables - slaves Date: July 23, 1800 Inventory continued A tract situated in this District on the right bank of the Mississippi river, bounded on the upper part by the plantation of Dn Bernardo Capdevielle and below by lands of the Succession of the decd. Dn Beltran Gravier, composed of six arpents of front with the ordinary depth of forty, which belongs to the succession for having been puchased by the deceased at the auction sale of the property which was left at the decd. of Jacobo Lanterne. Another tract sitauted in the proper District on the same bank of the river, bounded above by land of the Royal Dominion and below by those of Joseph Amelton, composed of eight arpents of front with the ordinary depth of forty, which belongs to the Succession for having been conceded by the Governor General of this Province, sixteen years ago. The present plantation situated in the said District of Iberville on the same right bank of the Mississippi river, bounded on the upper part by lands of the Succession of the decd. Ygnacio Amelton and below by the plantation of Joseph Hamelton, composed of six arpents of front with the ordinary depth of forty, which belongs to the decd. for having been purchased of Juan Bautista Dupuis, from twenty-four to twenty-five years ago, with all its edifices, and fences which consist * * * said plantation contains fourteen arpents, more or less, of land, containing felled wood, on all its front, and all this fenced, of which eight arpents of depth of land are cultivated and the remainder in pasture, contains cypress trees for the use of the plantation. In confirmity with the originals, remitted to his Tribunal in office No. 24. July 28, 1800.
