Who explained that the latter contracted a partnership with Jean Landry, his brother, that during this partnership, Jean Olivier Landry died, and because of debts contracted for the same partnership, they will proceed to the sale of objects. Date: October 30, past, and the portion, that is, the half due to Anne Marthe Blanchard, not being sufficient to acquit the debts of the sucn. there remaining a sum, so that the remainder of property left by the decd. will have to be inventoried, as follows: movables. There is also belonging to the sucn. A tract situated in at Lafourche containing about four arpents and a half of front on the ordianry depth, adjacent above to the lands of Paul Braud and below to those of Mr. Jean Landry. That in consideration of such, it cannot be included in the inventory, since it is within the jurisdiction of the Commandant of Lafourche, Louis Judice, who will make the inventory and afterwards the same to this Commandant. Date: November 8, 1791 Inventory of land of sucn. of Jean Olivier Landry. At request of Mrs. Anne Marthe Blanchard, widow of the late Jean Olivier Landry, mother and tutrix, of Louise Amarante Landry; and of Jean Landry, paternal uncle and under-tutor of the said minor. On a tract belonging to the succession of the said deceased, situated in this District on the left bank of the river, between Messrs. Paul Braud and Jean Landry, which tract is of four arpents and twenty toises of front on the ordinary depth, meanwhile this land narrows to the end of the forty arpents, to 1 degree and a half. * * and that said land being abandonned since a very long time, that is is found as a cleared land, without any buildings and but the enclosures, fallen, in ruin. Liquidation, and family meeting in which Mrs. Anne Marthe Blanchard, mother has been named tutrix of the minor, Louise Amarante Landry, and under-tutor, Jean Landry, her uncle. Date: November 9, 1791 Mrs. Anne Marthe Blanchard, widow of Jean Olivier Landry, appears for herself and for Louise Amarante Landry, her minor daughter with the consent of Jean Landry, uncle and under-tutor of he minor, that she accepts the estimation of the property and she promises and obligates herself toward the minor until the minor reaches the age of majority or marries, to pay certain sums to the minor, and until then, she mortgages all her property to the said minor, for payment of said sums.
