Date: September 4, 1793 At request of Mrs. Margueritte Pelagie Braud, widow of Pierre LeBlanc a Public Sale - At the same time, family meeting, which chose Pierre Voisin and Amant Hebert to be appraisers, and the Widow for tutrix of minors. A plantation situated in this District on the right bank of the Mississippi river adjacent above to the lands of the lady, Widow Brunetau and below to that of the lady, Widow Ignace Ebert, containing five arpents of front and some toises, on the ordinary depth of forty, on which there is a house, kitchen, store, cabins for negroes which belongs to the succession for having been acquired of Mr. Alexandre Landry about eight years ago. Family meeting, the relatives agree name as tutuix is Mrs. Marguerite Pelagie Braud, mother of the five minors, and name as under-tutor, Joseph Michel LeBlanc, their nearest paternal relative. Debts due to succession and by succession. Small sums. Date: September 5, 1793 Petiton for Public sale of property - at request of Mrs. Margueritte Pelagie Braud, widow of Pierre LeBlanc Date: September 6, 1793 Family meeting - Appeared: Mrs. Margueritte Pelagie Braud, widow of Pierre LeBlanc, in her name and as mother and tutrix of her 5 minors: Narcis, Auguste, Maximilien, Pierre Paul and Henriette LeBlance; Joseph Michel LeBlanc, their nearest paternal relative; and in capacity of under-tutor of the minors; Charles Ebert, their uncle by marriage; deliberate whether or not to accept inventory; and decide to sell the property so inventoried.
