At request of minors of the Widow LeBlanc, named Blanche LeBlanc, Marie Francoise, Joseph and Simon, all 4 children of the said lady. Inventory - A plantation containing six arpents of front on the Mississippi river situated on the left bank on ascending, between the land of Mr. Legay, and that of Jean LeBlanc; Named for tutor of Joseph, Simon Leblanc, and for Simon, Mr. Joseph Henry. Blanche and Marie Francoise, not having presented their baptism papers, they are considered of age, and no tutors have been named for them. Date: July 12, 1791 Appeared: Joseph LeBlanc, Simon LeBlanc, Margueritte Blanche LeBlanc rep. by Joseph LeBlanc, her husband and Marie Francoise LeBlanc, rep. by Francois Xavier Gaudrot, declared that they partition objects of inventory with exception of plantation which they agree to have sold and sell to Joseph LeBlanc, the lower part and Simon LeBlanc, the upper part. They acquit each other for the partitions they have made; Gaudrot and LeBlanc, acting for their wives in giving acquittance. Date: July 10, 1791 Affidavit - of Joseph and Simon LeBlanc, minor sons of Joseph LeBlanc and of Anne Ebert, their father and mother, authorized by Joseph Henry and Simon LeBlance, their tutors, that they declare they are of age of majortiy; Date: July 11, 1791 Affidavit - of Embroise Longuelpee and Pierre Joseph Landry, that they know them minors. Date: July 11, 1791 Declaration by Nicolas DeVerbois that considering the affidavits of the above, that the minors are emancipated, and that Mr. Joseph Henry and Simon LeBlanc are discharged of their tutorship.
