Theodor Rivet declared he had received of Pierre Rivet, his uncle and god-father and his tutor, certain sum for his portion and as forming the 6th part which corresponds to him in the succession left by his decd. father, as it is confirmed by the act of obligation which his step-father, Pierre Longuepe, and his mother, Ester Leblanc, had passed the 16th of the month of April 1795, of that which they had on hand belonging to the heirs of this succession, which act is a continuation of the sale of the property of the said, his father, Theodor Rivet, on date of the 19th of January 1794 and all deposited in the archives of this County. Moreover, Joseph Rivet has received of his said uncle, god-father and tutor, Pierre Rivet, $8.2 for his share forming his sixth part corresponding to him of the interest of the sum of $200 which according to an obligation of the 29th of Jan. 1798, he had on hand belonging to the six minors of Theodor Rivet, which interest run up to the end of Jan. 1801, having paid the three 1st years of interest to his step-father, Pierre Longuepe, in charge of whom they were at the time; which $8.2 interests added to $62 first mentioned sum, Joseph Rivet gives his uncle acquittance, for same.
