Decree - Date: July 9, 1805 In order to proceed to the inventory, P. Belly, Judge, names for the minors, Vital Rivet, their first cousin, as guardian; and for the widow, Bernard D'Auterive and names the appraisers. Date: July 11, 1805 Acceptance and oath of guardian of the minors. Same date: Acceptance and oath of guardian of the widow. Same date: Acceptance of the appraisers and their oaths. Observing the oaths, the Judge P. Belly, declares that the inventory would be proceeded with. Date: July 15, 1805 Inventory The present plantation situated in this County on the right bank of the river adjacent above to the properties of Joseph Leblanc called Agros and below by that of Bernard D'Auterive, composed of four arpents of front on forty of depth; which plantation belongs to the succession for having been purchased of Ciprien Babin by act passed before Louis Dutisne, the ninth of July one thousand seven hundred eighty-one, according to as it is confirmed by the document which the widow has presented; on this plantation there is a house ** this said plantation should contain about twenty-five arpents of land cleared, surrounded by old fences of cypress, and of which arpents of land cleared; there are four arpents sowed in corn and five in cotton; in a word, such as the said plantation might comprise and contain, with the crop which is standing, estimated ** Partiton or distribution - Date: July 16, 1805 After having examined marriage contract dated March 30, 1788 wherefrom nothing can be brought to the liquidation; half of estimation belonging to Widow of Blaise Rivet, who declared she held in her hands belonging to her minors, issue of her marriage with same Blaise Rivet, a sum coming to the minors from the sucn. of their decd. father, as appears by act of liquidation, dated 16th of July 1805, which sum is to be paid at their majority; and she is thus obligated to the tutor of the said minors, Vital Rivet. For security, mortgages: The plantation where she resides situated in this County on the right bank of the Mississippi river, adjacent above by the properties of Bernard D'Auterive and below to that of Joseph Leblanc, called Agros, composed of four arpents of front on forty of depth, which belongs to her for having been acquired at the price of the estimation of the property dependent upon the community which existed between her and her decd. husband.
