Petition - Felipe and Godfroy Roth, brothers, sons of Joseph Roth and Antonia 
LaMarre, who declare that they are heirs of their father and mother, now 
deceased, and decide to have a public sale of their property.

Date: September 21, 1802
Sale - The present plantation situated in this said District on the right bank 
of the Mississippi river, between the possessions above of Dn Pedro Belly and 
below by those of Dn Juan Serret, composed of six arpents and two toises of 
front with the ordinary depth of forty, opening at ten degrees; said land 
contains one hundred twenty arpents of land cleared of felled wood, land well 
placed; with beautiful cypress trees, with the edifices and fences which on 
the same are found built; and in the same condition in which it is found, with 
the exception of the harvest with the condition that the said Dn Pedro Belly 
might conduct his packing in order to drain off the land into a bayou which is 
found in this plantation, during the time that he is owner of this land he 
being obligated to cleanse this Bayou in the partnership with the owner of 
this said plantation whenever necessary in conformity with the agreement and 
obligation which the decd. Joseph Roth had made, which is found in the 
archives of this Commandant; said plantation and opening is sold according to 
the title of concession in favor of Pedro Trahan dated on July 7, 1774; and 
that the decd. acquired it of Pedro Trahan according to the deed executed at 
the Post of Attacapas. Herein adjudicated to Felipe & Godfroy Roth
