Sale - Pierre Alin, Sr. with consent of Jean Baptiste Alin, his son to Simon & 
Pierre Alin Jr. his sons


To have sold his plantation situated on the right bank of the river, on 
ascending, between the plantations of Messrs. Bonavanture LeBlanc and Jean 
Ebert, to Messrs. Simon & Pierre his sons, under the following conditions:

Understood that the plantation of Mr. Pierre Alin contains seven arpents and 
one hundred fifty-four feet of front on the Mississippi river, to be 
partitioned in two, that is to say, each party will have three arpents and one 
hundred sixty-seven feet of front, on the said river, the party above will 
border Mr. Simon Alin and that below, Mr. Pierre Alin Jr; the purchasers will 
be held to pay to their brother and sister and at their demand, the sum of 
$100.00 in current money each, that is to say, $200.00 between the two 
purchasers; to build on this said plantation a house of same proportion and 
same quality as that where resides the said Mr. Pierre Alin Jr., in order to 
lodge their father and his family during his life-time, it is on condition 
that Mr. Pierre Alin declares also to have sold to Mr. Pierre, his son, the 
second concession in the depth on the same lines of all the front of this 
above said, * obligating himself to deliver the title in form at his request. 
* * will not have the right to sell the land before the death of the said Mr. 
Pierre Alin.
