Sale - Pierre Allain, Sr. and Anne Gautrot, widow of Pierre Allain, his son, 
and now wife of Charles Ebert, who declared by act of July 10, 1787, the said 
decd. Pierre Allain Jr. had acquired of his said father, Pierre Allain, the 
half of his plantation, or three arpents, twenty-five toises and four feet of 
land of front and forty of depth with all the fan of this plantation under the 
charge of being accountable at his decease to the other co-heirs in the sum of 
$200 for complete payment of this said half; that Pierre Allain Jr. being 
deceased in 1790, of the circumstances particularly engaging his widow Anne 
Gautrot in her name as her capacity of mother and tutrix of her son, Landry 
Allain; and Pierre Allain, her father-in-law has resold the said land to Simon 
Allain, brother of the decd. for $100 which he has paid to Charles Ebert and 
$100 which remains in their hands to be remitted to the succession of Pierre 
Allain Sr. after his decease; and not having had meanwhile, passed an act and 
also an authentic title to Simon Allain for this ownership, they sell to Simon 
Allain, the same three arpents twenty-five toises and four feet of land of 
front with forty of depth and all the fan belonging formerly to the plantation 
of Pierre Allain; in a word, all the property which is given by the above said 
act to the decd. Pierre Allain Jr. under the obligation that Simon Allain has 
contracted to pay at decd. of Pierre Allain Sr. and to sucn. $100 which 
remains owing for complete payment of this land.
