Sale - Anne Babin, widow of Amant Melancon, with the consent of the children, 
who are: Simon, Nanette, Isaac for his wife Felicite Melancon, and Paul Ebert, 
tutor of Constance Melancon TO Gregoir Melancon, her son


A plantation situated in this District on the right bank of the Mississippi 
river, adjacent above to the lands of Joseph Ignace Landry and below to those 
of Simon Melancon, containing four arpents and a half of front on the ordinary 
depth of forty arpents, the buildings, enclossures such as they comprise and 
contain, which belongs to her for having been acquired at the price of the 
estimation of the property of her late husband, on the date of March 26, 1782, 
the widow reserving the use of the said plantation during her lifetime, or 
during her widowhood.
