Retrocession -
Joseph Babin to Simon Forret

The plantation which he had sold him by act passed before me and deposited in 
the archives of this Commandant on the date of the tenth of August of the year 
1792, which is situated in this District on the left bank of the Mississippi 
river, adjacent above to the lands of Pierre Longuelpee and below by those of 
Simon Joseph Dupuy, containing seven arpents of front on the ordinary depth of 
forty, the buildings, enclosures which might be found thereon; in a word, such 
as the said plantation might comprise and contain at present.
