Sale - Jean Baptiste Babin to his son-in-law, Narcise Leblanc and to his 
daughter, Mariane Babin

Two arpents twenty-seven toises three feet of land of front on the river with 
forty of depth with the enclosures which are staked thereon, to take from the 
lower line of the plantation which he possesses, situated in this County on 
the left bank of the Mississippi river, bounded above by the plantation of 
Joseph Leblanc and below by that of his sons, Simon and Paul Babin, containing 
five arpents and twenty-five toises of front, the same which belongs to him as 
coming to him from the community between him and his decd. wife, Elizabeth 
Leblanc according to confirmation by the inventory of the fifth of July 
passed, and of the sale here before, on date of this day which had been passed 
him by his children and co-heirs. Selling further, the store which is found on 
the lower part, of the buildings which are on the said plantation.
