Acquittance - Simon Babin, husband of Henriette Landry received of Hypolite 
Landry, his brother-in-law and tutor, of his said wife, certain sum as her 
inheritance in the succession of the decd. Firmain Landry and Ludivine Babin, 
her father and mother, according to confirmation by the liquidation and 
partition of this succession dated March 28, 1795 which is inserted in the 
proceedings of the inventory and sale of the property of the decd; which sum 
Hypolite Landry had in his hands for her and her co-heirs, minors, according 
to act of Nov. 14, 1796.
