Sale - John Bacon to Francois Alexandre Daigle

A tract situated in this County, on the right bank of the Mississippi river, 
bounded above by the lands of Simon Pierre Babin and below by those which 
Bernard Ferrary just purchased of Christophe Artacho on date of this day, 
composed of two arpents  of front on forty of depth, the buildings, 
enclosures, and other things which might thereon be built, in a word, such as 
it comprises and contains; the same which belongs to him as being in the 
rights of David Powen, that he had verbally ceded to him and transferred his 
rights and claims on the said property, and for having paid him himself, John 
Bacon; and the same David Powen had purchased same on account of half with 
Christophe Artacho with two arpents of land of front, besides and forty of 
depth of Pierre Labove by act passed before Charles De Grand-Pre, Gov. of 
Baton Rouge the 22nd of October 1802;
