Who declared that in the month of April passed, Margueritte Lejeune, their mother and mother-in-law, had verbally sold to Baptiste Monclat: A tract situated at the said place on the right bank of the Mississippi river, bounded above by the lands of Jacques Pascal and below by those of Olivier Leblanc, composed of four arpents and a half of front, or thereabout, on the ordinary depth of forty, the buildings, enclosures, and other things which might be found thereon, in a word, such as is comprised and contains actually, the same which had accrued and came to her as heritage to the said Mrs. Margueritte Lejeune, widow of Nicolas Belange, their mother and mother-in-law, by the death of her son, Michel, which he had himself acquired of Antoine Barbero according to the figurative plan and title of concession accorded to this latter by the Governor General of His Majesty, which Henry Scaller Thibaudaux is said to have in his hands and is obligated to remit to the purchaser at his first demand.
