Sale - Pierre Isidor Blanchard to Pierre Ferdinant Landry, minor son of the 
decd. Firmain Landry, authorized by Paul Mary Landry, his tutor, who not being 
present is represented by Mr. Anselme Landry, uncle of the minor and agent of 
the said tutor

A plantation situated in this District on the left bank of the Mississippi 
river, adjacent above to the lands of Victor Blanchard and below to those of 
Hypolite Landry, containing four arpents of front on the ordinary depth of 
forty arpents, the buildings, enclosures which might be thereon, in a word, 
such as the said plantation might comprise and contain. Selling also the half 
of cypresses and oaks which are on an arpent of cypress grove situated in this 
same place on the land belonging to Mr. Joseph Leblanc called Adoux, taking 
between that of Theodor Duga resident of this Post and that of Mr. Joseph 
Barqr Vahamonde, with the exception of 15 cypresses which are to be taken and 
chosen in the said cypress grove by Mrs. Marie Rivas, widow of Mr. Francois 
Simeon Mathe when she deems fit; which belong to him for having been purchased 
from the said lady in partnership with Hypolite Landry by act passed and 
deposited in the archives of this Commandant on the date of the twenty-ninth 
of August passed; which as come to him proper and to him solely belonging by 
the act of partition made between the latter, Blanchard and himself, the same 
day.
