All rights reserved. http://usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://usgwarchives.net/la/lafiles.htm ********************************************** ************************************************ File contributed for use in USGenWeb Archives by: Crystal Devillier oneonone@cox.net January 9, 2007, 9:06 pm Written: February 20, 1802 Date: February 20, 1802 Sale - Olivero Brasset to Teresa Amilton A plantation with all its dependencies belonging to me, situated in the same District on the right bank of the Mississippi river, composed of three arpents and a half of front with the ordinary depth of forty, bounded on the upper part by lands of Santiago Leblanc and below by those of Luis Leonard, the same which was possessed and purchased of Luis Leonard on the twenty-first of June of the year one thousand eight hundred by deed executed before the actual Commandant, Dn Franco Rivas, besides the second depth of other forty arpents on the same front of the three and a half mentioned, like this, at all times that the said Luis Leonard would obtain of the Governor General, the second concession of a second depth on all the front of the land which was formerly possessed, in this case should pay, the purchaser, to the said Leonard, the part of the costs in proportion which was occasioned by the said second concession, with the good understanding, that if he would not obtain, the same, he would sell only the first depth on the front stipulated, and selling it free of encumbrances.
