Jean Paul Trahan and below by those of Francois Arbour, composed of three aprents and eighteen feet of land of front, as well as the showing actually, the existing boundaries, on the two extremities of this plantation; selling this said plantation on the ordinary depth of forty arpents with the opening which corresponds to it; in a word, such as it comprises and contains actually, such as the purchaser, has seen, visited and accepted, which belongs to the vendor for having been purchased of Jean Baptiste Henry by act passed before Mr. DeGrand-Pre, Governor of Baton Rouge about nine years ago according to confirmation by the sale which existed in the archives of the said Post of Baton Rouge; Jean Baptiste Henry had been owner for having made the acquisition at the auction of the property of his cousin, Charles Henry who had it two years before, and Charles Henry had the ownership by the concession which had been accorded to him by the Goverment of S.M.C. at the time that the last Acadians had arrived and established in these localities.
