Simon Broussard to Etienne Gregnier

A tract of two hundred eighty-eight feet of land of front on the Mississippi 
river, on the precise depth of three arpents, taking from the actual fence of 
the front, which will be delivered by the vendor in presence of four 
inhabitants, which is to take on the upper line of the plantation which 
belongs to him in this County, situated on the left bank of the said river, 
bounded above by the properties of Firmin Pengrave Landry and below by that of 
the Widow Charles Braud, composed of four arpents of land of front on forty of 
depth, the same which he had purchased of Joseph Braud by act deposited in the 
archives of this County passed before Francois Rivas former Commandant of the 
District of Iberville the sixteenth day of the month Dec. 1800, the said Simon 
Broussard selling the said two hundred eighty-eight feet of land of front on 
the depth of three arpents, without any reserves, with the enclosures which 
are thereon, in a word, such as this parcel of land is comprised and contains; 
but under the clauses and conditions expressed: (obligation of Gregnier to 
make levees, roads and bridges on front of the above said land)
